Sex Therapy

Very few of us were given the tools and affirmation needed to navigate sex, despite it being a fundamental part of our humanity. I am a sex therapist passionate about reducing sexual shame, fostering a lens of curiosity and self-acceptance in sexuality, building a sense of playfulness and confidence, developing a personal acumen of sexual values, and unlearning messages of sex-negative cultures.

We might be a good fit if you are hoping to explore: underlying causes of sexual issues, history of purity culture or sexual shame, sexual/gender identity, kink/fetish, non-traditional/non-monogamous relationships, differences in sexual needs among partners, issues of libido/performance/arousal/desire/intimacy/inhibition, etc.

I approach therapy from a relational, psychodynamic perspective, which means bringing a lens of curiosity and self-compassion to better understand the patterns that shape emotions, thoughts, and behavior and how these things have been influenced by our experiences and history. I am a queer and trans-identified therapist licensed in Wisconsin & California and am trained by the Sexual Health Alliance.

  • I work with individuals age 18+ on an individual and/or couples/relationship basis.

  • Therapy is typically conducted in weekly, 50-minute sessions (75-90 minutes sessions optionally available).

  • My rate is $150/session ($225-270 for 75-90 minute sessions), with a limited number of need-based sliding scale or low fee slots available.

  • I do not accept insurance, but can provide documentation for insurance reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.

  • I am licensed to work with residents of California and Wisconsin.

  • Sex therapy does not include physical or sexual contact between the therapist and client.

  • If you are interested in therapy, the first step is a free, 20-30 minute consultation appointment. You can schedule an appointment online by clicking the “Contact” button below.
